Karen Alvarez:

I have been playing accoustic guitar for over 20. I’m self taught. My husband has been telling me for YEARS if you want to get better, play with people who are better than you. Well I am finally taking his advise.

My influences,  Heart, Indigo Girls, John Cougar, Led Zeppelin, Heart, Blues Travelars, Lynard Skynard, Blues, Rock, Swing, pretty much all types.

I’m a videoghopher/editor by trade so being in front is something new for me!

Steve Cooper:

Born in southern California into a family of music lovers,Steve was given his first guitar at age 10 and was taught the chords to the song "Gloria" by his brother.

Thats when he knew that he was hooked! His father was a talented singer and harmonica player,so music was always encouraged. In 1973 Steve moved to the bay area, and played in various bands throughout his teens, then went on to working bands in his early twenty's.

Over the years,Steve has played guitar and bass in top 40, rock, country, blues and metal bands. Now 47 years old,he has been with The Aerodynes since 2004.

Adam Alvarez, Vocals, Saxaphone, Guitar  More bio on the way.

Many years ago, an unwise piano teacher sent a young lad home from a lesson for the final time with instructions for him not to return citing "the boy's apparent lack of musical apptitude". His parents, chastised by the feckless pianists' assesment of the child's musical ability, sent him to his room, where, unwittingly, they set him upon a musical journey that continues to this day. In the corner of the boy's room set a slightly-used gut string acoustic guitar given to him by his uncle a scant few weeks earlier, with which he had already mastered Scotty Moore's rockin' lines on "Hound Dog" and Ritchie Blackmore's into to "Smoke on the Water". The stage had been set and the die cast. This boy was meant to ROCK!

And ROCK he does. Many years and countless gigs later, Rob is still tearing his guitars up and lovin' every minute of it! From Metal to Jazz to Americana and everything in between, no style of music is out of reach. Every show is a Rock 'n' Roll party and he will make sure YOU enjoy your party time with The Aerodynes too. Cheers!
